Bestseller Omar Tyree. Omar Tyree is a New York Times best-selling
author and NAACP Image Award winner is a journalist, author, lecturer, poet,
screenwriter, songwriter, and publisher who completed his undergraduate
studies at Howard University in Washington, DC, with honors in print
journalism. In August of 2000, Tyree landed on the New York Times
